I have this tablet for a couple of months now and never had a problem with it.The tablet was smooth, so was the battery. On a 100% charge with a light usage would last me for days.
Anyway for a couple of days now , i never was able to save it from 0% ,meaning to actully see that the table was running low and connect it to the charger. So the table went off.Naturally i would connect it to the charger and wait for it to fully charge. This worked fine for a couple of times ( i actually was able to see the battery icon recharging when the tablet was off for the first time) but today this isn't working. The tablet switched off cause of low-battery (the actuall icon on the notification bar was a red empty battery with a ! mark in it) so normally i connected it to it's officiall charger and let it there for couple of hours. But unfortunatelly this didn't do the "trick" anymore. The tablet wasn't charged at all , and it's charge was emtpyish. The tablet would still switch on for a couple of minutes , so i switched it on and connected it with its charger again, but still no charge. So the tablet would switch off again. Now after a few boots the tablet won't boot cause i drained all it's battery ( i think ) and still wont charge. The weird thing also is that , i tried to connect the charger with my laptop to charge it via usb and i surpised witnessed that when i plug my tablet to the usb port , the fan that i have attached to my laptop for cooling ( via usb ) would automatically switch off. This was to a suprise to me cause i tried to charge with the same cable a phone and it was charging it without the fans to stop working. I dont know what to make with this information , so after i googled for some time i decide to make an account and ask here.

Any tips?

Welcome to the forums. Is it plugged into the wall charger?

Right now, no it's not connected to the charger. It was for a couple of hours without success.I use the AC power plug btw.

It is highly possible that draining it so low damaged the battery voltage level. It may not accept a charge anymore.

I have pluged it to the charger ( the tablet is off) and the batter icon appeared.I gotta say im a little relieved but the icon shows an empty battery, with a littlle red bar in it and the battery glows on and off.Does this mean charging? Also moving the mini-usb plug a little disconnected the whole process , so maybe a bend pin maybe? But i cant say on which end.

The prior post about the battery being drained to the point of not accepting w charge anymore is a real possibility and one of the downsides of Li-ion batteries. This part you just posted about the plug is worth looking in to, though. I think using USB cables as a power connection was about the worst thing they could do for power. The cables are very prone to losing connection where the wires connect to the back side of the micro plug (the end that plugs into the device). Before completely writing this battery off, I'd try a brand new cable to see what happens.

What exactly do you mean about "writing off"? Before full charging maybe? And about the cable, you mean a same usb-to-micro cable attached to the toshiba usb adaptor-power plug or a new charger?

The tablet is being charged as we speak and i have turned it on.The thing about the plug is real thought. I have found the right angle where the process of charging works and i left it on the table , trying not to move it.

Then it seems to be the cable. I would try a new one.

I was referring to what GolfDriver97 was saying about the battery being damaged and unable to accept a charge. "Writing it off" as in considering it completely dead and either replacing or sending in for repair (I'm not familiar with the tablet to know if it's user replaceable). Trying a new USB cable would be the easiest and probably cheapest thing to try of the two.

I do mean just a new charging or combo data/charging USB cable if the charger that plugs into the wall is separate from the cable. Usually they are and the charger itself is likely still good. Since you are able to get it charging by keeping the cable/plug at a certain angle to the tablet, I'm guessing the battery isn't the problem. If replacing the cable doesn't fix it, then likely the port on the tablet is getting loose and needs repair.

Yeah exactly :) .Well atleast the battery is ok.Excellent help here guys. Im gonna go with an other cable and see from there. Thank you for the assistance.
