Expandable Notifications

Since I got Jelly Bean on my GS3, the expandable notifications haven't been working until today when I got an e-mail and it showed some of the body of the e-mail. Is there an option to turn it on or off at all? I noticed the expandable notifications started working when I restarted my phone today.

Some apps don't support it yet, I think but I'm pretty sure you can't turn it off. Email does it for me like it does for you, stock mms app does it as well

Ok yea I ony noticed my e-mail does it. Also if you have more than 1 e-mail from the same account then it won't expand them. Also I haven't noticed the MMS app yet.
