got mine on ebay from "shimshop" make sure to go to the listing that includes the battery and the extended battery cover. ordered on 7/9 and received 7/19. not bad considering it was an international parcel.

it is not compatible. dimensionally they are actually quite different.

I bought the gsm specific seidio 3500 mah battery and cover and holster from Amazon. Very happy so far, but it has only been a few days of use.

I've ordered mine from etradesupply, a 3800 mah battery only cost $12. I think it worth a try.

Those batteries aren't very good. You will get slightly better battery life than stock, but not anywhere near a quality battery.

Went through the same thing I the original epic. Cheap eBay battery ended up killing it

Would this work with a tpu case? What are your results coming from the stock battery.

Will it actually damage the phone in any way, or at worst, will it just offer a sh*itty battery experience? For 12 dollars, it seems worth a try just to see, unless it damages the phone of course..

No, that's the Verizon extended battery.

Yes the Samsung 2000mAh battery is only slightly larger and all my TPU cases fit perfectly...
