Hello all.. Does anyone know if I need to be rooted in order to transfer photos from my N6 to my memory stick?

Nope all you need is a micro USB to female full USB cable like this, just use ES file Explorer when you plug it in.

Or an otg flash drive- I have one myself on my keychain at all times it's 32gb and I only paid like $15

I have the flash drive but can't figure out how to transfer to it.

I use a file explorer (ES File Explorer is what I like - material design, clean, simple) and it appears in there

For a lot of things, go to share, then there will be 2 options by ES. One is send by LAN and the other is to Save to... Click the save to then go back and choose your flash drive
