Hi all,
I have a number of family photos and videos stored on my GEAR SM-V700 that I am desperate not to lose but I can't find a way to back it up.:'(
The Gear works fine but was previously paired with my old phone which I no longer have.
When I try to pair it with my replacement Galaxy Note3 it says that it needs to reset to factory settings.
It's recognised by Kies3 via USB to my Windows10 laptop but Kies3 will only allow a firmware update which will also wipe all the data.
I have enabled Developer Mode/USB debugging to allow Media to be transferred but the PC can't 'see' it under File Explorer, it recognises a USB device in Device Manager but there appears no way of accessing or backing up the data.

I can see the photos & videos, use all the Gear functionality (except where it requires/relies on pairing) so why can't I get it recognised by the PC and transfer the media?

Please can someone help?

Thanks
GF

All I can think of is a USB connect to a PC with a previous version of Windows and might then need prior version of kies. Maybe Samsung could/would help?
