Facebook app: can anyone tell me why the app will not get out of

I open the Facebookk app. It will work fine for some of the day. Eventually I go to watch a video and after that video I scroll down on the "more videos" for other related videos. Once I try to back out of "more videos" the app closes but will not allow me to get back to my fb profile or feed.

Does it happen with just the app or all apps? If no, Go to settings, apps, fb & clear the data & cache. Open the app & try again. If that doesn't help, its the app. They would have to update it.
