Facebook app not updating

Here is the issue.
My wife and I have the exact same phone with the exact same updates
HTC One M8 Ver 4.4.4

Home 5ghz WiFi - Works fine on both phones
4/3G cell - Works fine on both phones
Work 2.4ghz WiFi - Her phone updates Facebook fine. Will not update on mine, but used to work.

What am I missing?

I'd usually ask if you've uninstalled/re-installed Facebook, but now I read a couple of posts from an LG3 with similar issues that apparently just froze/uninstalled the Google+ app and that solved their problems. Might try that?

I should have mentioned that. Yes, I have tried uninstalling / reinstalling the app.

Don't know if this has some effect but my Google + seems to be working fine. the only app that is effected by this is facebook.

Yeah, same thing with these two posters. For some reason the Google+ app was interfering with their WiFi for certain apps. Worth a try.

Did the threads you read mention if Google+ was reinstalled ?
