Facebook app will not work since update

I have a nexus 5 and when Facebook updated yesterday it quit working. It says setting up Facebook when you launch it after awhile it says just a moment. While this is happening my phone gets hot and it drains the battery.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no success. Anyone having this issue?

No issue here. Try booting into Recovery and wiping the cache partition. It may take up to 10 minutes on a Nexus 5, so let the process run. http://forums.androidcentral.com/nexus-5-rooting-roms-hacks/352008-guide-nexus-5-recovery.html

Yea im not having a problem as well.
I would delete it and reinstall it.. I had to do that with a couple games
and works perfect.

Same issue here on my OPO. I keep restoring back to an old working version using Titanium.

Same here with my Nexus 7- 2013 model.

Same here since the last few days.

Only solution I found is to go into app settings, force close. Reopen and then literally keep moving the shade up and down to keep the screen on, until it eventually loads, some 5 minutes later. It will then work for a while, until it decides to stop working again and I have to do the same thing all over.

I have the same problem won my N5! I suggest to download a lower version and and I think it will work

For those who have problems with it: I would try the approach BDiddy mentioned earlier in the thread.

You have to let it set up. It takes awhile. About a minute. I let it do that, and it works now
