Facebook calendar/birthday push notifications

I just switched over to Android for the first time and have the HTC One S. I synced my Facebook contacts and all is well. Only annoying thing is that I have birthday notifications on my locked screen and want to get rid of them, but can't figure it out.

It currently is reminding me of a friend's birthday that is tomorrow.

Anyone know how to disable my facebook friends birthdays from my calendar or how to disable the notification?

look under the "personalize" menu under settings .. looks like the social skin or theme is applied... forget which one ... but mess around "personalize"

settings>accounts & sync>Facebook>uncheck calendar box
