Facebook Contact Syncing Issues

Only concern I have so far and its relatively minor.
After I sync contacts with Facebook it started extracting all the profile pics from the linked friends. It's great but all the pictures look choppy and pixilated. Looks pretty bad.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Yeah I'm having issues along the same lines of facebook. I want it to sync pics and info with the people I have in my contacts, not my all my friends on facebook. Not sure....

That was actually an option that you had to choose when setting up Facebook. It asks to sync with contacts only in your address book, or all contacts on Facebook.

Try going back into Accounts and Sync options under Settings and play around or just deleted your Facebook account under those same settings and start over.

Take it from me if you want to spare your battery, kill that facebook sync thing.

For syncing FB pics, this free app, does a better job and has an option for downloading hires photos. You're kind of at the mercy of the thumbnail that Facebook has for each person.

As far as FB syncing in general, I have yet to see an Android phone that can do this right.

I had the same problem, all my facebook friends downloaded. I really don't need 95% of the facebook people. Since I haven't called Jimmy from second grade in over 30 years I don't think I need his contact information on my phone. I removed the facebook app and reinstalled it and changed the sync options
