Facebook messenger SMS/MMS issue with 4.3 on HTC One

I use facebook messenger as my main texting app on my HTC One. But after I updated to 4.3, I found that I am no longer able to send a group SMS/MMS message through FB messenger. When I try to add a second person to the message, it says I have reached the maximum number of recipients. Was just curious is this was affecting anybody else?

I have not used it sense 4.3 but I do know Facebook is having some strange issues today. Maybe that is the issue? Has it just started becoming a problem?

No it's been an issue since AT&T pushed out the 4.3 update a week or so ago. I've started using the stock messaging app since it works fine with group messaging, I was just a fan of the chat heads that FB messenger offers.
