Facebook news feed freezes

since the last Android update my wifes facebook news feed has froze and won't show new posts. She has uninstalled and reinstalled app twice. ????

Does she have the same problem if accessing her Facebook account from a browser?

Welcome to Android Central! So you're saying this only happens when using the Facebook mobile site on Chrome? What if she installs the Facebook app instead?

Hi. She has tried it twice and it froze again using the Facebook app. And its the news feed.

Sorry, just want to make sure I understand -- you're saying that she has tried both the Facebook app and the Facebook website on her Chrome browser, and the newsfeed freezes using either?

It is just the Facebook app that is causing this issue. She has tried contacting Facebook to no avail.

Try also clearing the app cache/data for the Facebook app in Settings>Apps.

You never tried uninstall the update to Facebook? by long press the Facebook icon tap info then upper right corner tap 3 dots to uninstall.

Just don't let it automatically update in play store to test previous version.
