I ATTEMPTED INSTRUCTIONS - -
■Go to settings.
■Head over to applications.
■Open all applications/manage applications.
■Move onto Google Play Store.
■Simply clear data and clear cache. ***** THIS THEN SHOWS WARNING - DELTE APP DATA? All this app's data will be deleted permanently. this includes all files settings, accounts, databases, etc
** do i click ok ?? scared - please help

I can confirm have enough data usage and storage space.

After some research I managed to find these instructions.
1. Go to Application Manager, clear cache and data for Google Play Store.
2. Stop the Google Services Framework process and then clear cache and data. This is found under the Running tab in the Application Manager.
3. Go to the Play Store in your browser and log in, and click on My Orders & Settings at the bottom.
4. Give a nick name to your phone and make sure Show in Menus is checked, click on Update to confirm.
5. Reboots your Phone.

Let me know how it turns out!

P.S. Don't panic, after you reboot and open the Play Store, it's going to want to update. Then you'll have to log in again.

Hi there - thanks for your info but im not techy minded. have you got an S2 ? I cant seem to find Application manager -
