facebook stopped working

I have a tablet android 4.4. When I turn off the wifi it show that facebook has stopped working even though I didn't use facebook. How do I passed by that error?

Hi there,

Firstly, go to playstore and check the app is fully updated. If so, I would try uninstalling and then re-installing the app. If that doesn't work try clearing the cache and data for the app in Settings > Applications > Application Manager > Facebook > Clear Cache & Clear Data.

This does tend to fix the majority of issues.

If not reply back and I'll suggest additional action.
