Facebook Sync not working

I'm trying to sync my contacts with Facebook, and whenever I try to sync them all I get a "sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly." If I try to manually add contacts to do it, I get a Force Close error.

Does anyone know if there is a fix for this? I've restarted the phone already, and waited a few hours...no change.

Any ideas guys?

Yep just remove the facebook account from your phone and then re-add it with auto-sync turned on. I had the same problem a while back and thats the advice I was given and it worked like a charm. It might take a couple of times but it will work.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. The more research I do on this, the more I find out it's a common problem. Lots of people haven't been able to resolve it.
