Ever since my phone went to gingerbread, i tried using the GPS either google maps and the sprint one and instead of using it quickly, it takes forever to load up and by the time it gets up, im already there. is there a bug thats making it go slow. and also my contacts on my phone who are linked to facebook, their pics dont change..neither did mine. So is there a way to fix this or do i need to have sprint fix it?

The Facebook updating problem might be happening because you're not signed in. I would check that first. Go to people/then click on the globe at the bottom/ choose Facebook...then make sure you are logged in.
Also..my pic won't update unless I manually do it by clicking on my contact card/edit/tap on my pic and then choose Facebook. I hope this helps!

My wife recently discovered a fix to the problem of Facebook pics not linking to the person in your people app.
Go to the people app > select a contact > tap the menu button > select edit > select "friends" under the Group dropdown menu.
After that, you should be able to link the contact and have their Facebook pic show up in your people app.

As far as maps and navigation go have you tried updating your GPS so it locks in faster? Or have you gone to settings, applications, gone to the program, clicked on it to bring up next screen where you can clear data and cache?
