Factory Reset slowed my internet connection

After the 4.3 update, some apps were force closing when I tried to open them. I fixed some of them by uninstaling and reinstalling, but then I decided it could be more efficient and thorough to do a factory reset.
Unfortunately, both wifi and the 4g speeds have decreased a lot since then. I used to get over 30Mb/s on wifi, now I get less than 3 (sometimes even less than 0.5) in the Ookla speedtest app. The 4G connection gets similar speeds...

Any suggestions?

I know you're saying that both wi-fi and 4G have slowed down a lot, but just to help narrow the problem down, it would still be worth rebooting your router (power it down, wait 10 seconds, and then plug it back in again). While you do that, I would also go to Settings>Wi-fi, select your home wifi network, and Forget Network. When the router has rebooted, select your network again and reenter the password. If it's still slow, then at least we know it isn't a router problem or a router connection problem.

Well, that's not really an option, since I'm on the university network... But thanks anyway. I'll try restarting the connection on the phone, though

[EDIT] No change... :(

They did change the radios (Baseband version = VRUCML1) in 4.3; I haven't noticed a speed degradation but I also didn't measure it before/after. Sorry, I don't have a suggestion since once you accepted 4.3 there's no going back.

I don't think it slowed down with 4.3, it only considerably slowed down after the factory reset (though it was because of the slow download of my apps from google play that I noticed the difference, so maybe it was due to 4.3)

I looked that up, and dialed #228.
Still very slow. Also, that seems to be about the mobile connection.
Isn't there anything that could be affecting both the 4G and the wifi?
