factory reset what was i thinking help!!!!!

lg optimus v stuck in recovery loop after a factory reset (stupid me). tried loading stock rom and also another to no avail. Stuck in clockworkmod recovery v3.2.0.1 loop tried some of the other threads to work through it but still stuck. this noob needs some step by step help thanks!!!:-$

I extracted Xionia CWMA v1.2518.6 to root on sd card when I try start in custom recovery power off> down volume+home + power release at lg splash it still goes to clockworkmod recovery. what am i doing wrong

You need to use cwm recovery to install the xonia recovery much like flashing a rom
