Fake N7 defect complaints.

So I was just on 4chan/g and some Mac fanboys were all laughing it up over spamming android sites with fake complaints about Nexus 7 defects and watching Android users "cry hard", some claiming to have used nearly a dozen accounts. Now I know that many people are experiencing legitimate issues, but this may explain a few things.

I knew that some were just trolls like the topics that was created on "How to remove ICS and go back to GB" and returning 14 Nexus devices!!! but what the trolls dont understand is they are bastard child

Lol...that may be the case, and I wouldn't put it past any iSheep, but all you have to do is look at post count, history, etc. Anyone with 1k+ posts talking about their defective N7, even after 3 or 4 attempts, probably isn't trolling.

I was wondering when it would come to this.

I still remember when the Xoom was getting released, I went to BestBuy.com to see if they were doing pre-orders and there were 42 comments for 1-star prior to release. Almost all of them said something along the lines of "Not made by Apple, 'nough said.", "Crap OS = Crap Tablet.", and "Just buy an Ipad". The Xoom wasn't even out yet and it was spammed by Apple Fanatics trying to persuade others not to buy it.

It is amazing that people think this makes sense. Then again the elitist mentality of iphone users became more obvious when instagram was released for android...this whole approach makes me wonder what it's like to live as a perpetual high school sophomore like these people do.

Why not just merge these threads as they pop up? Doing so would discourage frivolous complaint threads and create less clutter. How many times do we need the same thread repeated 100x?

Like no Android fan never went to an Apple site and talked trash about their stuff. I see negative Apple/pro Android comments on iMore.com from some members in this community. I see the name calling in this thread already (iSheep, stupid).

It's all a game, both sides do it. Check out the PlayBook forum on CrackBerry; you'll see bogus posts from both Apple and Android fans.

The worst offenders are some tech blogs, who are clearly anti-Android.

Lets be honest here the Xoom DID have it's flaws, but I agree, it's kinda crazy for there to be hundreds of reviews before the thing is even released at a particular store. The N7 has some QC issue too, as do most if not ALL new product releases. I think most folks posting here are legit, there may be some "jokers" as you have described, but I find it hard to believe their is any kind of conspiracy on the part of Apple fans to discredit the N7. (People at CrackBerry think the SAME thing too about Apple AND about you guys, but it's hogwash!) I should also note here that some of the issues may be unrealistic expectations on the part of the buyer. YES there are defects, but not every little issue is a defect. These are $200-250 tablets, NOT $500 tablets!

Now that's just straight up bad. I would never troll any sort of Mac forums doing that, and I passionately despise Apple like you cannot imagine. Wow, just wow.

For what it's worth, my Nexus 7 defect was a legit one, unfortunately.

I think some people in the court thread are I sheep as well. I won't give names. I don't usually advocate the ban hammer but it may be needed.

I figured this had to be the case in some of the complaints. I even wondered how many serious complaints were not just people jumping on the band wagon too. As for me my nexus 7 is wonderful no issues like what I read about. I love it. I just bought me amzer skin which should be here friday. I have MS and was excited about being able to buy a silicone skin that will help me get a better grip when I am having one of these more shakey days.I also want to add that this nexus7 is very handicapped friendly also.. I just love it.

Can't believe they're wasting their time doing that, but the problems are real...I went through 3 N7's to try to find one w/o the flickering issue and the first two had screen lift too.
