Exactly. Apple always demos the device for everyone to see. Highlight the features and show us why they believe it's great. Not android stuff. They just tell us what it does (Droid Does?) with a bunch of robotic sounds and flash the name on the screen and that's it. Stop telling us what you do so much better than the competition AND SHOW US.
+1 on this. I have YET to meet a person (including iphone owners) have not been impressed when I SHOW them what I can do with my Evo... I have long waited for any product based on Android to showcase it's unique things like swype, dlna, multiple form factors... AND also show that it still has what you already like (angry birds, Kindle, Pandora)... The xoom could have been that one. If I were moto, I would have had EVERY commercial being half of it showing some attractive 25-35 yr old woman using the top 5 apps that were on IPAD (but of course on the xoom), followed by the other half showing things unique (i.e. hdmi connectivity, 4G connectivity, taking the sd card out of the camera into the xoom). Ice the cake with a catchy phrase (heck use the old mazda "zoom zoom" thing) and/or a late 80's classic rock song in the background. One-two punch of 'you have nothing to loose, and everything to gain'. Key component is 'SHOW'. I actually was asked "oh, Apple came out with a new ipad already?" after a XOOM commercial just came on... That's partly a testament to Apple's success, but more so an indictment of Moto's failure to properly launch.
