Froyo is readily available. For anyone willing to try
Froyo is readily available. Not for the average consumer that doesn't want to void a warranty or deal with keeping track of updates, glitches and fixes via forums.
Actually... I FIXED it.
Seriously, I understand I can root, and the chances of bricking are SMALL, but I've seen MORE problems with people with rooted phones than those without rooting.
i wouldnt be surprised if they droped froyo all together and "leaked" eb01 to shut everyone up.
On the other hand, I'm sure there are plenty of people who have the phone, use it, and have no clue about the OS issue. They may be perfectly happy with the stock phone and not the types to join a forum like this. The phone is pretty great in its original form, but even BETTER with the rooting!
I would like to see 2.2 official release to get an undervolt kernel
are these sigh's of frustration?
My friend has an Epic 4g and sent me a text saying Sprint is re-issuing the Froyo update for the Epic by the end of the month.
I'm rooted and love the SC 2.9.1, but would still like to have these guys do their thing with the full build, and have ALL the features of Froyo... which leads to the question..
Has anyone heard anything about the full release of Froyo for the Fascinate?
Double wammy up to Gingerbread possibly?
