Fascinate Shell and holster or simple cover?

So guys, would someone that owns a fascinate want a Shell Holster combo or just a simple cover for the phone?

Just wondering which one would be better.

I have the same exact holster... works great for me. Coming from a BB Storm2, the Fascinate was a bit difficult to get used to. Knowing that the holster/shell combo gives it some decent protection - it was worth getting. I'd recommend it...

No, the extended battery is huge. Won't fit any cases out that I have seen

damn, that sucks, would love to have that case (used to having my phone on my hip in a holster for years now) but also would like to have the extended battery.

Thanks for asking this, DroiDev. I'm getting my Fascinate Tuesday and I"m coming from a Blackberry Storm 2 with the shell and holster case. I hate the idea of increasing bulk, but I LOVE the way that case protects. I dropped my Blackberry more than once and it shows NO sign of it!

I use a shell/holster combo from the Verizon store. It works really well for the most part.

Just a FYI. Found this holster/ case for the i500 Fascinate on Ebay. Seems to only come in black, but its more than reasonable on the cost. Hope this helps.
