Fast-charging notification constantly appearing on LG G5

[AC Question]

Every time I plug my phone on a wall-socket, the fast charging notification (and the annoying sound) constantly appears on the screen every few seconds. Has anyone else experienced this issue with an LG? I use the factory adopter. This does not happen when I charge the phone from a computer via USB so I suppose it has something to do with fast charging. There is no option to disable fast charging in the phone settings . Any suggestions? Thank you.

Welcome to Android Central! The charging plug might be faulty -- maybe the quick charge circuits are intermittently dropping out. Can you test it out with another LG quick charging plug?

Same problem..its with fast chargers..i tried 2

Use a small vacuum cleaner (set to blow) or a can of canned air to blow out the charging port. Conductive dust can cause a problem.
