At first it sounds like they reached out and broke it. After identifying your device as running lollipop they decided to cut it off. Or maybe there's a cache at their end which keeps that info and it didn't get updated right away, so that your downloads were still ok for a few hours until it did update. At any rate that's one good reason to hold off on lollipop until the apps catch up with it. Again, shame on all you developers out there for not having your apps ready for the new OS when you had plenty of time to prepare. Android is not alone in this. Apple devices have suffered the same thing with OS updates and there's no excuse for it.I reached out to Amazon support and they claim the functionality will be back in about a week. I am not keeping my hopes up, but anxious to have this working again.
