Favorite apps broken by Lollipop upgrade

First is Skiplock. The second is floatify. Both did obvious features that lollipop does not provide. Unlock on WiFi is a no brainer. Quick reply to messages and notifications is another. Not only does lollipop break these apps but they are left out of the OS. Rant on.

MX Player? Ouch! The thing I worry about most with these OS updates is broken apps, especially ones I use all the time. Anyone know about Amazon Music, ES File Explorer, Splashtop, Dish Anywhere, CNN, Aurora Browser, IMDB, Skype?

CNN works fine. MX Player has a nightly build that works so i'm sure the Play Store update will appear soon.

Capital One app opens but it tells you it is not compatible and brings you to the website.

SwiftKey seems to have some strange lag for me. Google Keyboard and Swype doesn't have any issue.

Rocket Player works but Lollipop has screwed up the ability to change/view songs on the lockscreen.

If it helps anyone. I've been fooling around with different apps. I was able to launch MyFitnessPal after carrying out a Force Stop. Facebook was broken so I tried the same. Didn't work so I uninstalled the app and re-installed it. Seemed to work.

My Amazon Music was working fine for two hours after the OTA upgrade was done. I was downloading new music when, I started getting "Sorry, Prime downloads are not supported for this version of android". It was working fine, after the OTA, when something changed. Now, I cant downloaded, just stream. (I had recently wiped local content to pick new stuff). So, what's up with this? It feels like Amazon pushed a code change to kill a function that was working just fine.

Anyone else have this issue? RE "Amazon Music 4.2.0"
I'd really like to get my music going again, streaming is not free. :/

Is it me? Or, did they reach out and break a working app?

Ya know Amazon peps, I 'm a good customer. I recommend your services to a lot of people. So, what's the end story going to be on this episode? Promo? Or, Demo.

I rarely use the Sketch feature in the Kik app, but I happened to use it after installing Lollipop and I noticed the tools don't work properly. I can't change pen size, brush types, colors (that are in the bottom row of colors).

Anyone else having this problem? Is it related to Lollipop or is it just broken in general?

Read where MX Player is working on an update and should be out soon, can't wait since I use it a lot.

Till then, no working MX Player on Lollipop.

I reached out to Amazon support and they claim the functionality will be back in about a week. I am not keeping my hopes up, but anxious to have this working again.
