Fedex delivering 2/22/22

Also if you use the fedex delivery manager, once it ships, you can have them deliver it to a fedex store and go pick it up, or you can schedule a delivery window. i did this last time and it cost like 5.50, but it was better than it sitting on the porch.

If' I'm correct ever since Samsung switched to Fedex they must attempt two deliveries before holding it at the hub. They must do two delivery attempts then held at the hub.

Incorrect, They made 0 attempts. As soon as the phone moved, I scheduled a delivery for the evening of when the day it was supposed to arrive. I picked from 5pm to 8 pm. I had to pay to do it $5.50 but at least i knew when it was coming. https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...om/en-us/delivery-manager.html&token=aXsx4WJ1

I am lucky to live 1 mile from Walgreens , you can arrange to have packages left there is you are close to one, NO CHARGE

I have done this a few times no need to play the waiting game.

Why was there a $5.50 charge ?

It explains it on the link i shared to the fedex delivery manager page. If you pick a different time than the normal route, then they have to put it on a different truck or back track and do it later. thats probably why they charge. It's a convenience thing. Yes you can have it delivered to walgreens or fedex offce for no charge.

yes, but that was still a delivery. You just chose the time. I'm talking about no delivery and picking it up at fedex.

If you are talking about no delivery and then pickup, why did you quote my post about fedex delivery manager? Its not the same thing.

Samsung and FedEx each have a different delivery date for me, which one do you think is more correct?

Samsung hasn't updated my date from the 25th but FedEx indicates the 22nd. I'm going to stay optimistic and go with FedEx. We'll know tomorrow as that's the ship date according to FedEx.

Mine already shipped.

Mine is still arriving Tuesday although I got an email before saying "Your Samsung order is delayed because of a later delivery date that was requested. No action is required from you at this time, we will deliver on the new date."

But the date on both the Samsung page AND Fedex have stayed the same. Odd.

The same thing happened to me. Got an email around noon saying my order shipped. Then around 3:30 p.m. I got the same email you did. What the heck does "because of a later delivery date that was requested." I didn't make any request. Fedex app still shows a delivery date of 2/22. So mysterious.

it would be pretty dumb if Samsung had them hold it longer when the carriers are shipping them early. Makes no logical sense if Fedex has them why not let it be delivered.
