File attachment from unknown sender

I got a message from an Unknown Sender all it was is a file attachment. Is this a hacker or malware/virus/etc.

Also he didnt accept replies
(This happened in android messages and on my Lg Tribute Dynasty

I would delete the message without opening it. If it's from someone who you don't know you probably don't want it anyway.
