Files not downloading

I have got this samsung galaxy tab 10.1 and it worked fine for few months but suddenely it has stopped downloading files. A pop up at below will show "starting download" but file won't download and neither the download arrow would display at topleft corner. Please help!!

Welcome to Android Central! Do you know if the Download Manager got disabled? Go to the App Manager (Apps>Settings>Application Manager) and look for Download Manager. Tap it, and see if there is a button that says "Enable." If you see that, it's been disabled--tap Enable, and try the download again.

There is that Turn off/on button which already is on mode, but what I noticed that this download manager is not reflecting under running apps. Does that means that the downloader app itself is not working properly??!!!!

Hmm, not sure. You could try wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data. http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...ing-into-recovery-mode-galaxy-s2-s3-tab2.html

In Application manager, scroll all the way down. Disabled apps are located there. If you are on 4.2.2 you may have drag the list of apps to the left to see disabled apps.
