That bit of info about a possible delay was from venturebeat. I'm not positive but I don't think they are associated with EVLeaks/Evan at all.

Frankly, not sure how reliable "a person familiar..." is. I'll believe it when I hear it. Here's what they said:

Bezel size looks a lot like the bezel size/shape on the Galaxy S8 Active. (Disclosure: My top two contenders for new phone is the Pixel 2 XL and S8 Active.)

If we were going to use this method, I think we would find that the display is somewhere around 136 mm x 68 mm

Got bored and did the math. PH-1 display is around 129.75mm x 66.5mm. But, more is lost with the top cutout since that never goes away and the UI has to push down to avoid it in most apps, even whitelisted ones.

Even if the 2 XL is delayed until November, I'm still on board to pre-order tomorrow assuming no issues in ordering. Software, OLED, camera and IP67/IP68 might be enough to justify the higher cost. The downside is being forced to have more Google software than I need, although it can be disabled/uninstalled.

Black will likely get my vote as well. With the rumored unlimited Drive storage and fact that I don't care about video or storing lossless audio files, 64GB might be enough.

I had the Frost White Nexus 6p and that thing was just a beautiful phone. If I take the plunge for the 2XL it will be the Panda. Such a striking design.

64gb I know will be enough for me as my 32gb Pixel, in which I was a little concerned about storage space, is holding up just fine.

The only battle going on in my head is whether or not I want to continue my trend of finding a good, but slim case to put it in or to go WAY out of my comfort zone and slap a DBrand skin on it.
