Finally Broke Down and Bought One

Finally pulled the trigger and I have to say this phone is amazing to be a so-called "mid tier" or budget phone. And I cannot believe it's on 7.1.1 already and my unlocked US version S7 Edge is still on Marshmallow. And when it DOES finally get Nougat it will be 7.0. But again, I'm really loving this phone. The screen, THESE SPEAKERS. Top notch if you ask me.

It is truly astonishing how far the "mid tier" devices have come in price and specs. Axon 7 is a flagship device in everything except the cost.

In reality, this is a top tier phone that'll go up against the best. . . And win. I've got a samsung galaxy S7 edge. Beautiful screen, but the A7 beats it in everything else. Its screen is top rate, but no curves. Anyway, my A7 is my daily driver.

Wow I didn't even realize there was a limited edition. Sounds nice.

How other companies can charge double what the Axon 7 goes for is beyond me. I'm looking at you Google for the Pixel.

Agreed, I sold my pixel, went back to my S7 edge. When I read about the Axon 7, I bought for the audio. But low and behold, it's as good as any phone that costs twice as much. Now my daily driver. The pixel was a total joke.

While the pictures on the Axon are very good, for those who want the best possible low light pics, the newer Samsungs are hard to beat...that is pretty much the only con I have...as mentioned by others, everything else on the phone rocks!!

backlit navigation buttons would be a nice to have, but have definitely learned to live without it...

I love my Axon 7. But now reports are coming out of the Axon7S. It's supposed to have better low light images for it's camera. Don't think I would upgrade though since I got mine only back in December.
