Finding trouble third party apps

I have been having issues with my m8 lagging, but after reading online and not finding other people saying the same thing, I restarted my phone in safe mode to see how it runs, and it's like lightning. So that must mean it's a third party app that's installed that's causing my problems correct? I clear my cache constantly as well as using advanced task killer. What's the best way to determine which third party app is causing the problems without having to uninstall everything and reinstalling one at a time? Thanks.

You can disable them one at a time.

Advanced task killer is the first one you should uninstall

Definitely get rid if any battery saver or task killer apps. Also not sure if you use a anti virus app, but get rid of that too. Android manager(developed by Google) will find your phone if it ever gets lost.

After posting, i went through my phone, and deleted every app i dont consider to be "essential." I kept things like my notepad app, td bank app, subway map app, and things of that sort. I definitely notice much improvement on my phone. I'm not sure if its operating at full potential though. Its hard to do the disable one app at a time thing, because even when i was having problems, it wasn't constant. It would lag for a few minutes, then be fine for hours. I was curious if there were any system monitor type things that let you know what apps were causing it.

Yeah +1 on dumping task killer and similar apps to that. They seem to be pretty worthless. As for me, my phone slows down when I drink lots of beer. Go figure! :-$
