Firmware Upgrade 2.3.4 Now Available

Just downloaded 2.3.4 from Verizon.

====> Turn Wi-Fi Off <=====

Then go to Settings, Software update, Check New.

It is just over 32Mb, and you will be asked to restart the phone after it downloads.

I hope it doesn't as Revolutionary works on a number of newly updated HTC devices.
I will let everyone know for sure tomorrow morning when I unroot to try though.

I guess asking them to fix the clock app and weather widgets was too much.

People on xda are saying that this kills root and the ability for revolutionary to root in its current form. Hboot screen says *LOCKED* instead of s-off. Spooky stuff, run away if you can

Make sure you have downloaded the Skype full app from the Market, and are not using Skype mobile that comes pre-installed on the phone.

Then go into options/setting inside the Skype app and scroll down and select your video chat options.

It is true that the DINC2 was not listed by Skype as being an officially compatible device, but the video chat (front and back cameras) works just fine.

I hope this 2.3.4 update goes better for you Incredible 2 owners better than it has for myself and other original incredible owners. It has not been going very well at all. I think they pulled the update for the original Incredible. Good luck to you all.

XDA is confirming this locks HBOOT from Revolutionary, and that HBOOT cannot be rolled back.
