Johnly, absolutely agree. I really liked that feature at first, but then realized that I only travel outside of the country once or twice a year, and only on vacation, so it wasn't as valuable. I love getting on a cruise ship, putting on airplane mode and not dealing with anything.

Cruise ship comment makes great sense... also not to mention the crazy high prices they charge for minutes. I don't even surf the net on a cruise...

Anyway, just had my E4GT for a week and love it- coming from an Epic. Even getting used to not having a keyboard.

Also, I find I can actually live without rooting the phone.... for now that is.

Scoob - Yea they charge quite a bit for "Cellular at Sea" and even using the WiFi on the ship is expensive. I usually look for a restaurant with free WiFi whenever I'm at port and grab a bite there and catch up a little.

As for root, I think the only reason I am looking for root is so I can restore some of my apps with the saved data. I rooted my Photon and pulled a couple of the games off with the data so I didn't lose my progress. Might just start over some of em and not worry about it.
