I did not force stop. I thought that can cause issues? Should I restrict background use for Android System?

It seems a bit better today (crossing fingers), but Android System is still really high.

Yes you can , especially if it's high like that .
You can restrict it but check later see if it turns it back off.

Even after the force stop yesterday and this morning, mine still seems to be running. I may wipe and star from scratch with apps

Considering the same but I just got Samsung Pay setup. So if I do that I will need to call my bank and Amex to add cards again. Not a huge deal, but Pain in the butt.

Yeah, I'm getting the same high system battery drain too.really don't want to go through set up again.

I didn't need to call my bank to get my card set back up, Samsung pay just sent me a verificatin text, and it has worked ever since then. I still need to setup a few other cards too.

I'm pleased with mine. This was Saturday night and that's been pretty consistent. I use auto brightness, but full WQHD. I'm on wifi at work and home. AOD 730 - 5. BT 24/7 with watch. Buds all day. I've purposely done nothing to save power and I'm good until bed time. I could actually wait and charge at work the next day.

Mine doing pretty good right now! All I did was change Optimize Apps to All in settings and I saw a difference!

My first full day with the phone I got over 9 hours sot with WiFi turned off. I'd say that's pretty impressive.

My optimize settings are still factory and I never use battery saver. Screen set on auto and wqhd. I'm on pace to get over 9 hours today. When I'm working it's not quite as good because my cell service isn't as good and I have my buds in all day.
