First part of call they don't hear me....

So I'm trying to figure out if this is a 6P issue or AT&T issue, but it's been happening for a long time.

Whenever I make or get a call, it takes like 10-15 sec for them to be able to hear me very well, I'm always told that they can barely hear me (like I'm holding my hand over the speaker or something) and then after about 15 or seconds, they finally say, oh that's better, now I can hear you...

Anybody else experiencing this?

My guess would be its taking that long to sync correctly with the tower. I wouldn't see that as a phone issue. Any other phones on your account?

Yes, two other phones, and they are not seeing the same behavior. I do hear some crazy beeps and noises during the first few seconds of a call....

I'd holler at AT&T and see if they can reset the SIM or give you another one. If you have a carrier store close by I think I'd pay them a visit. The phone could be wonky but I think I'd rule out everything else I could.

Pretty sure this is a network problem. Get your provider to replace your SIM card.
