First "Phablet"... Anyone else?

Coming from 4.3' Droid Razr the GN3 is a vast improvement.
I don't know the factors affecting screen dimensions. (w vs l).
However I would have been pleased if the screen was a little wider.
Yes, harder to hold for some folks. Yes, harder to fit in pockets.

Sorry.. Most of the world uses the word. Look at many reviews.. So I am just using the term that was coined. Either way.. That isn't the point of the thread . I'm basically seeing if others are trying out such a big phone for the first time as well.

I like mine...I'm still trying to get used to Android after converting from iOS. I actually love the big, gorgeous, screen. I think the apps are a little lacking but are catching up nicely. I also realize that I was somewhat of an App *****, and didn't necessarily use any of them. The only thing that disappoints me is the camera, I found that the iPhone 5s and Nokia Lumia have the best camera. I guess I can live with it and just adjust my habits. So far this thing is a beast. I really live how all the Apps are integrated into Android and sharing is a breeze. I think the email and Facebook experience is also WAY ahead of the game. I found that drop sync can automagically upload photos that were taken...and I like the way you can record calls (if it's legal in your state).

I know there are many "I got mine threads!" but I wanted to make one that is more than that... I just got mine from T-Mobile yesterday and loving my first phablet so far! The screen is gorgeous and it is fast as hell! Also the phone really isn't as bad as I thought to hold while on a call. I've always held phones with 2 fingers and the 3rd on the back of the phone.. So it's been working out for me.

So is anyone else like me trying out your first "phablet" as the Note 3? .

Yah, I have the AT&T version and it too is my first Phablet. I always knew that would be my next phone and since I have always wanted a Note, I picked up a Note 3 for me and the hubby last Sunday. I could NOT be happier with my decision. The size does not bother me at all and is less of an issue given that the Note is so thin. The phone itself is fairly light weight so I have absolutely no issues with the size or weight or anything else. This phone comes closer than any I've had previously (far to many to count) to meeting my needs. There is very little I can't do with it. I honestly can't see ever going to another line of phone unless someone somewhere manages to out-do the Note which I simply don't see happening. Just as the iPad is the standard in tablets against which all others are measured; the Note will be the phablet that all others are compared too. I'm in this for the long haul. Eat your heart out iPhone!

I will be purchasing a Note 3 in a few weeks, can't wait! I have always wanted one but never got around to purchasing one. I will be coming from an S4, so it shouldn't be that bad of a transition.

I got my Note 3 about 2 months ago and never looked back. I was a diehard apple fan, and had a lot of anxiety moving from an iPhone 5 to the Note 3. But have never regretted it. Loving the Note 3! With AT&T, because I have the unlimited data grandfathered in

Now if I can just convince my wife to leave her iPhone 5S...

1st for me, coming from a 4.3" Motorola Photon.

I don't mind the size cause I've got an enormous head, and the phone makes it look smaller.

Hey, remember back in the day when people walked around with a boom box on their shoulders? Can't be any worse than that!

Came from an S3 to this. Love the device and I don't see myself separating from it for the life of my contract. GG Samsung, I'm satisfied.

Maybe I shouldn't admit this but I don;t think I have EVER had a phone for the life of the contract (I'm a phone junkie ) but I truly believe this may be a first because I absolutely love this phone. It's my first phablet but I always knew I would love the Note. So glad I chose to make the N3 my first phablet.

My first phab and DROID. From I phone5
Liking DROID so far. Not sure of size w note 3. Was dead set on moto x but thought s pen and note3 could replace my I pad
Spen seems really laggy so far when scrolling Web and tapping buttons etc.
Tried nova launcher and then back to twhiz now.
I said I'd give it a week to see if I can get to eenjoy and really utilize the giant said screen for work and if not I'll go to moto x.

You might want to consider that X more. It is quite the phone.
