What do you think about this 5G test? First time I've had a chance to really test out speed tests in a 5G network, as my town is still LTE.

Are these speeds good/average/mediocre/bad?

Who's your carrier? 5G is still pretty mediocre on T-Mobile where I live, and since the 5G radio tends to drain battery more, I just keep my phone on 4G LTE.

That's what I thought. Not sure if its the phone or the network. 5G should be AT LEAST 100 MBps I'm on Verizon. I did a test under LTE coverage at home and got about the same numbers.

5G is essentially just the branding for a few specific chunks of radio frequency spectrum, it doesn't have a minimum download speed. All it means when your phone displays 5G as that you are connected to a network tower using those specific frequencies.

I don't think there is any 5g to get excited about.

I was in Lancaster, PA over the weekend and was pulling 500Mbps down and over 200 up on their 5G (T-Mo). I was floored because at home, my 5G is slower than the 4G. So at least it's shaping up in some areas.
