Really? Wow, that sucks! You'd think that the first update on the watch shouldn't have this effect.

FWIW, I updated this morning, and I did not notice any change in my battery life.

Not for me. The notification for the update went away after the reboot/install.

My battery life is unchanged after the update. I also have yet to find any changes with the update.

What happens when you click on it and let it try to update?

May need to reset it

It finally just went away on its own. Not sure how, but glad it's gone.

My wife started to get it a couple of days after she updated...weird. It too just eventually went away.
