fixing to throw my android out the window!!!!!

I have a blue bold 5.0 that has issues I have trued to get 4g and no luck I did the APN settings went to phone and punched in a code *#*#4636 something of the sort got into my phone info and I can't switch the gsm to LTE and all I can switch it to is unknown...what gives

Have you tried contacting your service provider for help and correct APN settings?

Android since v1.0. Linux user since 2001.

Welcome to Android Central! Crashdamage's advice is good. Which carrier do you have? Are you able to view the APN settings and make sure they're completely the same as the ones the carrier lists?

Also, what's the exact name of the phone? I can't find a Blu phone called the Bold anywhere. Are you certain it has 4G capability? Not all phones do.
