Hey, All,

Sometimes I'll take 2GB or 3GB video files with my camera and I have no desire to waste bandwidth or battery or system resources on those uploading in the background.

Is there a way to tell an individual file to NOT upload?

I have found a few ways into tricking it to stop, but they're just temporary. I would like an actual method.

Have you already tried moving those files to a different folder? You could even create a new one for that kind of files and make sure that sync is off.

Yea.... Not a bad idea. Too bad there's. Not an option per file, ya know?

Yes, I have never found that option in Google photos.

Just be sure that you use a file manager to make a new folder because if you create a new folder within Google photos it automatically automatically thinks you want to upload and then starts syncing immediately.
