Flash on s3

Just curious about taking pics with this thing. I have auto flash turned on, and I have just turned the flash on but the pics still
come out looking a little dark if the lighting is the room is a little dim. Any great tips anyone can give me to solve this? Thanks and I hope you

The flash on a cell phone is only good for up to about 8-10 feet. Try going into setting of the camera and down to Shooting mode and select Low light or HDR and see which gives you better results.
