Every time i try flashing a kernel either from flash gui, recovery, or fast boot i get a constant boot loop and then i have to flash the boot.img of my rom, thus eliminating the kernel. :p

What can i do to fix this? I've gone through many different threads on this site and others, and I cant seem to find the solution.

Thanks in advance :]

You should reflash the rom you are on and then make sure the kernel you are wanting to flash works with it. Just wipe cache and dalvik should be fine, but you might want to do a full factory wipe and start over.

just tried flashing my first kernel, silverneedle with clean Rom 2.9.5 using flash GUI and bootloop. Fail

now im stuck, i tried reflashing my ROM and that didnt fix it, trying a nandroid restore

well after emergency help from scott last nite i fixed it, but how do you know "what kernel works with what" i just did a search for evo 3d kernals and one of the most popular was silver needle, so i tried that and shot myself in the foot.

it happened to me too i use the infected anthrax kernel it works great chadgoodman is the king of kernels never had a problem with any of his kernels try it out u will see
