Flashing Roms need help

Is it OK to Flash this without doing a factory data reset? I'm new to Flashing without an SD card and I'd hate to lose everything on my Internal storage.

Hello,

I'm assuming you have either ClockWorkMod or TWRP recoveries installed. There is an option should be under WIPE or it may say Factory Reset this is what you need to do before flashing a ROM. Factory Reset will wipe data/cache/dalvik cache ONLY... You have to manually select the option to WIPE INTERNAL STORAGE which is usually a NO NO! That will cause you some major headaches...

TWRP, okay cool !

Yeah go to WIPE, then FACTORY RESET. That is the proper route for flashing a ROM.

NEVER NEVER NEVER wipe your internal storage.... That always leads to bad things, usually erasing the entire device leaving you with no OS or anything and on the edge of a bricked device.
