Flashing themes, require deodexed rom?

I was eyeballing a honeycomb theme over a XDA forums for the DX2 and was doing some research how to flash it. Not so much info out there for the DX2 specifically. To flash a theme on the x2 will i first need a deodexed rom? Read somewhere that most themes dont work well with odexed roms, hopefully not the case for x2. Since i have rooted GB i am curious what my options are.

Usually the themer will tell you in to OP if you need to be deodexed to run tthe theme. Eclipse is currently the only deodexed ROM I've seen.
