Flickr app pictures of certain file size not downloading

[Android Central Question]

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but, for some reason Flickr is telling me my internet connection is "too slow" when I download images with rather big file size. But the thing is, I can get to like 15-20% of the download done in less than a minute but it just stops there.

I downloaded these same pictures earlier this year without this error popping up. Anyone know what might be wrong?

I haven't checked if does yet but my wifi is faster anyway. The phone I'm using is Asus Zenfone max.

It's still worth testing on your mobile data, in case there's an issue with your wi-fi. Are you able to test downloads on a different wi-fi network?
