It's a great deal really, I wasn't plan on getting it until the deal came in on the unpacked day.

Don't send your trade in until you know you like the fold, it's not for everyone, I love it myself. I would wait a week at least. The trade in boxes just have to have a tracking number by the date Samsung gives you, they don't have to be in their hands by then.

If you send your trade in and decide you don't like the fold you won't get the trade back. Not sure how Samsung works, but if there's a refund for the value of your trade, it won't be the the amount they gave you. The trades have a regular value and then they add the promotional value for trades. I'm guessing Samsung will not refund the promotional value.

You might already know this, but I've seen it happen a lot thru the years of it happening to people on here and upset because they can't get their trade back and they only get $350 returned to them not the $1,000. Everyone seems to be in a race for who can get their trade in approved first and they should be waiting at least a week, just my thoughts.

That's because the person traded in 2 phones which lowered the trade-in value. If they only traded in 1 phone they would've recieved 1,000 as the trade value.

I like my fold 3. I almost didn't upgrade to the fold 4. My main reason to upgrade to fold 4 is supposed to be brighter screen and the under screen camera is supposed to be more hidden. I would pay extra to have no camera on the inside screen, so being more hidden is a huge plus for me personally.

I usually upgrade every year. I had every note since note 2, and I am on track with that for the folds. I passed on the fold 1.

Way too identical for me to jump from fold 3 to fold 4 even getting it at 799.00 can understand someone from previous fold or wanting a Fold device, now I might jump from s22U to flip 4 even though the s22U is far superior, Then from flip 4 to s23U still not decided but 89.00 is very tempting to me

You'll be surprised just how enjoyable the flip 4 would be. I've thoroughly enjoyed my flip 3. Jumped on the S22 U, but everytime I use it now it feels too wide and I end up going back to my flip 3 as it has all the things I use my phone for day to day with a slim profile and a nice size display with stellar speakers. I'm still surprised how much I love my flip 3 because I never thought I would care to have a flip phone again.

Good info. I wasn't 100 on the refund amount they do but I was definitely not gonna send the trade in until the deadline. I was a little on the fence about how the battery life would be but I watched a YouTube video today where they battery drained it with it unfolded and it lasted longer than the S22U which got way warmer also. Hopefully this will hold true.
