I just got a pushed notification a short time ago saying to join LIVE to get a total of $400 credit. Anyone else get that TODAY?

No, just appeared on pulldown. When I clicked on it, brought me to samsung.com and it said something like Samsung experience at the top and there was a video. You could then click on options to order flip4, fold4 and watch5. It mentions up to $400 in instant Samsung credit.

Thank you. I called and explain I wasn't given that option so they gave me enough credits to get the galaxy watch pro for $46

I swear they said in the Keynote anyone who preorders the Fold4 will get a year of Samsung Care+, I asked via the chat on the Samsung website and they said that's false?

You're not the only person who heard/read free year of Samsung Care+. Who know what the heck happened.

Yes, they sure did say that Samsung Care + would be free for the first year. It was also in the transcript (which included, word for word the entire Samsung unpacked). I actually screenshot the transcript because I plan to argue that they need to honor what they promised.Screenshot_20220811-001118_YouTube.jpg

I went on YouTube to the Keynote recording and couldn't find where they said it, do you know the timestamp of when it was said? Or was it edited out?

The timestamp is at 1:51 watch corresponds to the time the CEO said it in the original unpacked video.

I know the 1yr complimentary option is available on various EU countries but for USA, it’s $11/mo or $239 for 2yrs.

Still... That's really shady to market something in USD and exclude the US as an eligible region.

I hope they change their mind or made a mistake. I went ahead an added the monthly $11 just in case.

Side note:
USA market receives better promotions and very high trade in values compared to other international countries which makes up for not having complimentary Care+ for a year.

That may be something they added in fine print or after the fact but in the live stream they only mentioned that they would preorders would receive a complimentary year. They did not mention any exclusions or special conditions. I'm still going to call them to see what I can do.

Did countries other than the US get a free year of Care+ last year with the ZF3? If not, then I guess it's plausible that it's the other way around this year. Still, a little misleading - but the Unpacked event is global. Also, Customer Service in the US should be more versed in this rather than not knowing about it at all. They're not legally bound to anything they say in the Unpacked event, and like others have pointed out - they have so many disclaimers anyway.

It was a big reason why I was comfortable enough about the durability of the ZF3. It would be nice to have it again with the ZF4 with all the reported bubbling issues that I've read a lot about.
