Have you tried a computer air duster can?

No bulge

Mine had a bulge in the crease. If there's nothing you can see blocking the phone from opening I would contact Samsung, it could still be the hinge. I wouldn't force it to open. Mine took a week turn around and it was fixed. Might be faster if you have a ubreakifix close by.

Mine was covered under warranty, yours should be also unless there physical damage.

I hate that. That will have me without a phone for weeks

It won't be weeks, I just said it was a week turn around for me. I also suggested ubreakifix as a possibility

Side note.. Everyone, and I mean everyone should have a back up phone. I say this everytime I see people trading their phones in for the trade in amount. The situation you're in right now is the exact reason everyone needs a back up. I don't want to go back in time so my back up is the S22U, and will probably become the S23U soon. The back up don't need to be as good as mine, but everyone should have one. The note 7 ordeal should have made having a back up standard now days. I even take my back up on vacations just in case.

The difference is very slight but I've noticed that mine doesn't seem to open completely either when I initially open it. If I exert a little more force it opens completely. Weird..........

Can't use it lol.

I think I'm going to wait until the s23 comes out and get it for Verizon then send the fold 4 off. I'll have 30 days to decide to keep it or send it back

See if Verizon will take it in on trade. Lol

This could be a good time to have a back up phone, keep both fold and S23.

The main reason I "upgraded" from my Note 20 Ultra to the Fold 4 was the trade in value I'll get on the Fold 5 by which if even half the speculation is true, will be the Fold we all want.

Supposed to be a new hinge that will allow it to Fold flat. A S Pen housed in the unit. Upgraded camera array. Larger design over all.
