For the guys - how do you carry your gear?

I asked the wife for you, her answer was yes. Even if a woman says no, deep down inside she is cringing. I don't care what people do, and I'm simply relaying the answer I got.

Interesting. Wonder if more ladies from AC could chime in.

Thanks to everyone who answered the gun question. I appreciate your feedback and will start looking soon.

Meh. I've never heard a female say a bag looks feminine. I mean there are feminine bags that guys carry, but a nice simple messenger bag or backpack has turned into the new briefcase. That's at least how I look at it.

Off topic, but which Glock is good for a new gun owner? I just got my license. I want to eventually get my conceal carry permit so I want something light that I won't really notice too much that I'm wearing it.
My cop friends always suggest the glock 22. I have a s&w sd9ve 9mm. But im thinking of getting the glock too. Feels lighter then my s&w, has a trigger safety, and chambering a round is like 3xs smoother then my s&w.
You can always rent them at the range see which one feels better for you.

I've never seen a Messenger Bag THAT cool lookin' !!! Where can you get this. What's MFG., Model Name?
THANKS !!!

EDIT> Never mind, I got the info:
Everest Canvas Messenger - Small Style# CT073S
I was just barely able to read the label "EVEREST"
THANKS !!!

Peace. Alan

lol are you being sarcastic. Neva seen anyone get so excited for a messenger bag

I am a simple guy. Left pocket is wallet and keys. Right is phone.

Done :D.

I'm so glad I finally ditched my giant wallet lol. This is what I'm using now and I couldn't be happier:

Trayvax® Axis | Stainless Steel Outdoor Wallet – Trayvax Enterprises
Me too! I have the original trayvax. I carry my wallet front pocket after some nerve issues in my back and legs that was from my back pocket wallet. Used the clamshell "as seen in tv" and while they were ok they wouldn't last. Along came the trayvax and I've never looked back. Although I almost lost it to the tsa about a month ago. Due to the hook.

Wallet Back pocket
Keys and miscellaneous front right pocket

Glock 26 in the waist

If Im going to be in the city for an extended time the 26 goes to the ankle and Glock 19 goes to the waist and I dont bring the "good phone". The city being Detroit.

No way Im carrying a murse

Phone and flashlight in front left pocket.
Handkerchief in rear left pocket.
Wallet in rear right pocket.
Front right changes. Sometimes keys, sometimes 357 snubnose, always two knives clipped to the pocket and 5th pocket.
Gear Fit on wrist.
Sunglasses on face or top of head.

No belt mounted phone for me.

Funny this post popped back up. Only because I found it ironic and funny that some of the oh so hard men poking fun in this post about bags had the nerve to get Blue Coral, like they had room to judge.

😂😂😂 I see you and your coral. ✌

?????????????????? I see you and your coral. ✌

I have my blue coral phone in my left pocket, and my Glock 23 on my right hip. Still haven't found a purse that I like though. :D

The mall does it for 7.99. Or, alternatively since you like guns, you can buy you own bedazzle gun for 20 bucks.

That's an idea. I may check into that. Seems like they should have one of those bedazzling booths at the purse boutiques.

So far though, my pockets have worked for me. I don't wear super baggy pants, but they're fairly loose fitting so even with my phone and keys in my pockets, they don't get that bulge look.
