For the price, V20 is not worth it.

Thank you for the awesome laugh X1tymez!

I always feel like this when i see people purchasing $700+ devices.
A $399 device will more than satisfy most peoples needs :D
In between the note7 and the v20 i got a stylo 2 for 3 weeks. Killing me. I rather pay more for the same service (i was on boost witj the stylo) to have a better phone. But its true some people just want something with text, netflix and facebook lol

If all you want is messaging Netflix and Facebook then this isn't in the league of phone to be considering anyway.

I'm glad my AT&T Premier account still offers 2 year contracts and an unlimited plan. The V20 was $329.

Don't they make it up in the contract
I'm sure they do somewhere. Carrier's get there money back some how. Plus they lock me in as a customer for two years but I've been an AT&T customer for a long time so it doesn't matter to me. I still get the option to upgrade after a year.

Who is paying full list price for the phone anyway? Most everyone is getting some sort of trade in credit and the headphones. XD

I still buy phones full price. Sometimes I give the old one to my wife or sell it on Craigslist. I don't think carriers give you as much as you could get so I usually avoid it.

Were you not able to cash in on the headphones offer at least?

I consider myself lucky in this go around. $672 list for Verizon, minus $150 value for the headphones, and minus another $300 for trading in my G4 (which I wouldn't be willing to sell for half that in good conscious due to the bootloop issues of that line). And if you really want to dig in on the offers, I also took advantage of the $24 Stylo 2 V offer because I already had a line available to put it on. So I'm paying next to nothing for the V20 itself. On a related note, I made a $50 profit on my purchase of the G4.

I didn't even try to get the headphones, I really only use bluetooth headphones during work. It sounds like you came out pretty good. I'm sure you couldn't sell the g4 for that. That is one thing that bothers me a bit with lg they don't keep the value very much compared to apple and samsung. So far I'm really liking the phone. Call quality is so much better then the note 7 I had.

I'm only paying $352 for my V20 due to the $10 /month loyalty service discount which brings my payment to $14.67/month. Oh, and no contract just payments so my bill will go back down at the end of 2 years

I have done a ton of research over the last 3 weeks. I have come up with the best deal for the LG V20.
Actually for myself buying the V20 through At&t is cheapest for me. If you dig around on there site they have a promotion that pays the customer $695.00 in bill credits over a 30 month period if you are a Directv customer and port in a new phone number from a different carrier. In my case I am jumping over to At&t from T-mobile. I will be getting $23.19 bill credit over the next 30 months. I just have to pay the $135.00 difference from $829.00 and the $695.00 over the 30 month period. I will be responsible for for paying about $4.50 cents a month out of my own pocket. That is a bargain to say the least. My monthly payment is only $27.67 a month and my bill credit is $23.19. I just got to keep Directv active over the same 30 months to keep the payments in bill credits. I ordered the silver V20 3 weeks ago. I activated it 2 weeks ago. I am more than delighted with this kinda deal

I have confirmed this saving with 5 different customer service reps. I already had a DIRECTV account for over 10 years

......... I did not have to trade in my Note 4 on this deal

I feel like if I keep it, I'll come out pretty good. Regardless I will get a small credit on my AT&T bill for returning the N7 and from what I can gather, I swear the rep on the phone said I will be reimbursed credit wise towards the few installments I made on my N7 after returning it. I had another unrelated issue on my bill, they were nice enough to credit me another $40 off my next bill. I got a free Gear S2 with my N7 pre order, I'll get my tax refunded for purchase on a BB gift card to spend it however I choose at the store. Tax plus installments on the V20 I'll end up paying like $500 for, obviously a little more if I don't trade it in within the year. Could sell it for a reasonable price if I kept it but whatever. I'm fine with it.

These phones are definitely not worth the cost. Feel like I had to have paid maybe $650-700 for the N4, the cost of the N7 and V20 are ridiculous, but they are what they are.

I pay like $140/month for 20 gigs data and two tablets on my plan. Fine with what I pay. I get the service and speeds I want, they treat me well when I gave an issue. Convenience is worth the cost in my eyes

No phone is worth $300.00 in my own eyes... It is all about supply and demand. Bragging rights help raise the cost as well

Love mine after getting used to the on screen home/back/menu/capture buttons. I think i like the LG interface more than Samsung. That might be the Nougat though. After this contract is up I'm not sure if I'll stay with LG or go back to Samsung to be completely honest. Was sad to turn my N7 in but I feel ok with this beast.

It's mostly an LG thing. I had the G4 before this, and there's not much difference between the two interfaces and OS's in day to day use except for the second screen on the V20.

Ahh ok. I had a 3Gs then went to S2. Been Samsung ever since. This phone has definitely grew on me. I wasn't sure for the first couple days.

A device that you can:
*Use to access the internet
*Use as a GPS mapping device
*Use as a gaming platform
*Use as an audio player
*Use to make voice calls
*Use as productivity platform (create/edit documents)
*Use as a content creation platform
*Use to watch videos & movies
*Use as a camera

...all while it fits is your purse, bag, or pocket...

is not worth $300 to you?

It would seem that we really take these devices for granted.
